Finished TASK

  1. Good job, nice set of gods.

The first version is pretty solid presentation. I like the general feeling a lot. Maybe the pose could have been more god-like, but on the other hand I assume that it's been your purpose to play with god-likeness, 'cause you have dressed him in suit. I like the quality of shapes you have in the character, especially in it's legs. There's quite balanced combination of curved and sharp edges. In comparison the trident in his hand has too much smooth bumpy shapes. Some angularity would have done good there.

The version with linework is also nice work, only not as good as the one with only shapes. That very thin and strict line sets the same kind of demand of accuracy for shapes and other things... On the other hand the trident is a bit too strict and symmetric. For my eye the hairy shape around it's head has too much details. It doesn't fit the general level of simplifying.

In the last version you have pretty silhouette-kind of figure, which is pretty realistic. I would have simplified it a bit more and made it more towards the simplicity of the version #1. Those details in silhouette are quite hard to see. They could have been stronger.

In general, you have made a good solid set of characters. In case of the god of sea I would have waited water element to be present in some form. Now this fellow with a trident could be also the devil itself :)

    Good job!
